Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

CBD is the abbreviation for Cannabidiol, which is one of many cannabinoids, naturally present in the cannabis family of plants which include Hemp and Marijuana. CBD Paste & Oils are extracted from strains of High Cannabidoil (cannabis) called Hemp.

How does CBD Work?

CBD stimulates a biological system Endocannabinoid System (ECS) that governs all the systems in the body and promotes homeostasis, or maintaining perfect balance in the body. By feeding your ECS with our CBD, it will be fully operational and so the body can resolve issues that will put itself back into homeostasis (which means the body has healed itself).

What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum?

Essentially Full Spectrum Products offer all of the medicinal value of the Hemp plant including all of the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. Broad spectrum typically only offers some cannabinoids, omitting THC from the blend. We find CBD is not as effective without a small amount of THC, always within the legal limits.

What don’t you offer gummies?

Our top 3 reasons we do not offer gummies:

1. Sugar creates/feeds most problems, so we find CBD gummies to be counterintuitive, counterproductive and could even add to the problem.

2. When a CBD product is chewed and immediately swallowed, it is sent straight into the stomach acid which does not offer proper absorption. Taking CBD Oil sublingually (under the tongue), is the most effective method orally so that the product absorbs straight into the bloodstream. The best way to administer CBD is rectally. There is a Vein in the Rectum that goes to the heart. The CBD then is absorbed into the vein and goes directly to the heart then the heart pumps it throughout the entire body.

3. There are over 120 different chemical compounds in the hemp plant that you want working for you including cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes, otherwise called “Full Spectrum”. Typically gummies or treats only offer 2-3 cannabinoids, omitting all of the other medicinal value of the plant.

Can children take CBD?

With adult administration and supervision, absolutely. Since CBD plugs directly into the body’s biological system that governs healing, CBD is beneficial for your whole family.

Do you have CBD for Pets?

Yes, we have specially formulated our CBD products to help your dogs, cats and all mammals to benefit from the hemp plant. Small, consistent doses of our Gidgie CBD Oil or CBD Paste stimulates their biological system that governs all the other systems and creates perfect balance from head to paws.

What is the difference between CBD Paste and CBD Oil?

In essence, CBD Paste is highly concentrated, unfiltered hemp extract to experience the full beneficial power of the hemp plant; while CBD Oil has been filtered of the plant matter with added carrier oil (Organic MCT or Hempseed Oil). Essentially diluted.

Will your CBD Products get me high?

No, There are many strains of cannabis (Hemp) that are non-psychoactive. This means you can’t get high as these strains are very low in THC, but high in CBD.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?

THC is the cannabinoid in cannabis that gets a person High, while CBD is non-psychoactive. THC is not an anti-inflammatory, while CBD is thus working with your body’s biological system (ECS) that govern’s healing to get to the root of the problem.

Cannabis Strains High in THC are called marijuana, but have very little CBD. Strains of cannabis with high CBD concentrations, or Hemp, are use to make CBD paste and oil.

Will I pass a drug test?

Just because someone tests positive on a drug test doesn’t mean they have ever been high before. THC does store in the fat so it is possible to test positive over consistent use. Also, the more common of the drug tests are looking for any cannabinoid, even the non-psychoactive ones.

We suggest to those that have careers that drug test regularly to take our Certificate of Analysis (links are under each product to their HR or head of their department. The COA is the results of the third party lab test on the final product, which shows the THC content is below the legal limit. That way your employer can make the decision as to if you can take the product. We have experienced that transparency can lead to being approved by the employer to take our products and the worse thing they can say is no.

Can I travel with CBD?

Within the U.S, you can fly with CBD products that contain less than 0.3 percent THC. However, TSA rules very much apply, in that any liquids (oils, tinctures, creams) must be less than 3 ounces in the carry on.

How does the oil get extracted?

Are CBD products legal?

YES! As of March 30, 2018 all 50 States recognize Industrial Hemp as Federally Legal.

What is the Difference between Cannabis, Hemp and Marijuana?

Cannabis are plants that carry different variations of the same chemical properties that can be separated into 2 main categories: Marijuana and Hemp. Marijuana contains higher concentrations of THC and Hemp plants contain more CBD, with  no psycho-activity.

While Marijuana is more popular in its use and typically solely used for controlled consumption, hemp is by far the more versatile cannabis plant. Hemp can be used industrially for organic building materials, clothing textiles and even food as it is nutrient dense in protein, omegas 3 & 6, magnesium and iron.

In regards to medicinal benefits, Full Spectrum CBD Products are produced from Hemp because of the higher concentrations of CBD.
